What are hotel accommodations in the area?
Hotel accommodations in Sedona and the surrounding area can sell out. We recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible. Here is a list of hotels in West Sedona near the venue. Here's the name and address of the event venue: The Global Center for Christ Consciousness 100 Northview Road.
The Hampton Inn is located at 1800 W 89A and is right across the street from the event venue.
The Greentree Inn is located at 2991 W 89A and is 1.36 miles from the event venue.
The Wildes Resort & Spa is located at 2250 W 89A and is .58 miles from the event venue.
The Arroyo Pinion Hotel is located at 3119 W 89A and is 1.5 miles from the event venue.
The Andante Inn is located at .9 miles from the event venue.
Highway 179 from the Village of Oak Creek through uptown Sedona is a high-traffic route. Staying in hotels along this route, as well as along Highway 89A North in Sedona, may add travel time to your commute due to traffic congestion.
Accommodations in the surrounding areas of Cottonwood and Camp Verde are an alternative if Sedona hotels are sold out or you are looking for lower-cost lodging. Both are approximately 20 miles away from the venue.
What is the best option for air travel?
Phoenix International Airport is the primary airport for the area. There are also regional airports in Prescott and Flagstaff. It is about a two-hour drive from Phoenix to Sedona. We suggest that you get a rental vehicle rather than use a shuttle service to get to Sedona because there are limited options for ride-share transportation in Sedona.
What are the food options during the event?
No food services are offered at the event venue. If you bring your own lunch or snacks, you may find outdoor seating at tables set up in the patio area. Please note the venue has a strict policy of no food or drinks in the main stage and workshop rooms.
Several restaurants are within a short drive of the event venue. Whole Foods and Safeway grocery stores are also nearby on Highway 89A.
Is Ride Share or Taxi Service Available in Sedona? Yes. Ride-sharing with Uber or Lyft is an option in Sedona, but service is limited and wait times can be long. As an alternative, you may want to consider using a taxi service. Booking a taxi in advance is the best option to ensure your preferred arrival time at the event venue.
The average temperature in September is a high of 85°F and low of 55°F. There is a slight change of rain with moderate winds at this time of year.
Selecting Workshops and Outdoor Journeys
How do I select the Workshop or Outdoor Journey I want to attend?
We are excited to offer the Sched app for creating your personal event schedule. After you have purchased the number of workshops or outdoor journeys you want to attend, you will receive a “Welcome to Sched” email from the event organizers with important information about how to make your Workshop and Outdoor Journey selections using the Sched app.
You will also receive an email from Sched with the subject line "You're Invited To Sedona Transcendence Retreat."Open the email and follow the instructions to "Create Your Profile + Schedule," which includes creating a password.
Once you have a Sched profile, follow the simple prompts to access the event schedule, then select the sessions you want to attend, including Workshops and Outdoor Journeys, to create your personal event schedule.
If the number of Workshops or Outdoor Journeys you select exceeds the number you have purchased, you will get an error message to adjust your selections.
Workshop and Outdoor Journey participation is not confirmed until you have selected the sessions you want to attend on Sched. If you have not received the Sched emails, please check your spam folder. You may also contact us at info@sedonatranscendenceretreat.com if you need assistance with scheduling.
Can I change my Workshop or Outdoor Journey selection?
Yes. You can change your selection using the Sched app. Simply deselect the Workshop or Outdoor Journey you do not want to attend, then select the one you want to attend.
Can I purchase Workshops and Journeys at the event?
Yes. During the event, you can purchase passes for Workshops and Outdoor Journeys that are not sold out.
Workshops and Outdoor Journeys have a limited number of seats. So, we suggest you make your selections on Sched as soon as possible to ensure you can attend the events you want. If you select a Workshop or Outdoor Journey that is sold out and there are no other options you like, we will be happy to refund your purchase. We will announce when Workshops or Outdoor Journeys are selling out and are sold out to keep you posted.
How do I access and sign the liability waiver required for me to participate in an Outdoor Journey?
All Outdoor Journey participants are required to sign our online liability waiver. You can access the waiver on the Sched app by clicking on the Outdoor Journey you have selected. That will take you to an information page with a link to access the online waiver.
Where is the event venue located?
The event is held at the Global Center for Christ Consciousness located at 100 Northview Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336
Is there parking at the event venue?
Yes. Guests can park in the lot for Global Center for Christ Consciousness. There is an overflow lot adjacent to the venue for additional parking.
When does registration start?
Doors open at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Check-in will take place from 2:00 -3:00 pm. The Opening Ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m.
Is there a storage area for personal items at the event venue?
No. Please plan to leave any personal items not carried on your person at your hotel or other lodging.
Can I bring my pet into the event venue?
The Global Center for Christ Consciousness does not allow animals in its facilities.
